AstroSEVA’s Philosophy on Vedic Astrology
At AstroSEVA, we honor Vedic Astrology (Jyotisha Shastra) as one of the six Vedangas—the sacred disciplines that support the understanding of the Vedas. For thousands of years, Jyotish has guided individuals in understanding the influence of karma, time, and cosmic cycles.
We believe that a horoscope is not a verdict on a person’s life but a map of karmic tendencies. It highlights opportunities, challenges, strengths, and favorable periods, helping individuals make informed decisions with greater awareness.
Astrology is therefore a guide—not a substitute for wisdom, effort, or faith.
The Four Foundational Principles
Karma
The results of past and present actions.
Purushartha
Personal effort, discipline, and right action.
Dharma
Living according to righteousness and moral duty.
Ishvara Anugraha
Divine grace, which can transcend karmic limitations.
While planetary positions indicate the unfolding of karma, they do not bind the soul absolutely. Through sincere effort, righteous conduct, devotion, prayer, mantra, charity, and self-improvement, one can reduce suffering, cultivate wisdom, and progress spiritually.
AstroSEVA encourages users to consult astrology for practical guidance in areas such as marriage, education, career, business, health, travel, and important life decisions. At the same time, we encourage every individual to remember that lasting peace and fulfillment arise from righteous living and devotion to the Divine—not from attempting to control the planets.
